An ace actor Shahid Kapoor, who has marked his contribution in the Indian film industry has another reason to celebrate. Recently, he is preparing for his upcoming movie Kabir Singh, and amidst that, he took out time to fly down to Singapore today to unveil his wax statue in Madame Tussauds Wax Museum.
Shahid’s statue is marked with another achievement to the museum where we have seen many other actors from Bollywood have been lately invited to Singapore to unveil their wax statues.
The successful actor has recently posted on his Instagram handle where he is seen posing with his wax statue and captioned the same as #twinning.
Shahid and his wife Meera Rajput arrived at the airport today in Singapore, but they were not accompanied by their kids. When asked Shahid the reason for not taking their kids along, he replied that they could be shocked to see a mirror image of their father which may trigger to a trauma. A wise dad’s decision indeed!
However, in the professional aspect, Shahid was seen lastly in a power-packed role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. He is preparing for his upcoming film Kabir Singh which is a remake of a Telegu film named Arjun Reddy. It is a romantic thriller and expected to hit the theaters on this June 21. Kaira Advani will be seen as the leading lady in the film whereas the movie will be helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
