T-Series was started by Gulshan Kumar around 3 decades ago and it was his dream to put T-Series to the top music company list in the world. After his sad demise, his son Bhushan Kumar took the business forward and he started all this at a very early age of 19 years. Gulsha Kumar, by that time have taken T-Series to be one of the most renowned music company of the country though he wanted to expend further and mark their global presence.

Bhushan Kumar, took it further and attempted to use social media and digital marketing platforms to promote his brand across different sections of the society. The successful campaign of T-Series in the online war to bag the title of World’s most subscribed YouTube Channel to becoming one of the leading production company, are parameters to gauge the exemplary success of the company. Even at world conferences like the recent Hong Kong International Film and TV Market (FILMART), Sean Park, Marketing Director of YouTube International Markets spoke about the kind of content T-Series provides on their YouTube channels. 

Bhushan Kumar is a successful business man who has carry forwarded the journey further and says whatever he has done is through his experience that he has learned ‘on the job.’

With the visionary of Bhushan Kumar for the last two decades, T-Series has been the largest production house in India. Not only it has been with film music production but a forerunner in music albums and has launched many new voice into the music industry of India through solo music albums. As a chairman and managing director of T-Series he is backed by a young team who has been with him since the beginning to fresh voices who joined him over the years, Bhushan Kumar was the first to introduce music promotions largely on digital platforms and he was the first one of zero a digital deal with Hungama who in turn serviced the content to telecoms. The dynamic entrepreneur ensured music reached to listeners not just via YouTube but also via different digital and mobile platforms.

As T-Series in the 90s’ backed many music album, Bhushan also brought back the charm in the last one decade by promoting many music albums along with film projects.

This year T-Series has witnessed a havoc success globally by partnerieng with Hindi films like Hindi Medium, Sonu Ke Titu Ki, Sweety, Aashiqui 2, Raid, amongst others. In the coming year there is a lineup of 18 new film music for the company.
