Bhuj is a war film which is concentrated in the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war

Confirmed: Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgn starrer Bhuj: The Pride of India will start rolling this October

Its great news to see Sanjay Dutt on screen after a long time and the sun will be doubled with the presence of Ajay Devgn. The film caught the limelight as the makers announced the cast for the multi-starrer film which includes Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Parineeti Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Rana Daggubati and Ammy Virk who will be playing pivotal roles in the film.

The film is based on the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war which leads to the partition of India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. The film will start shooting from October this year as per reports and the makers have also planned a shoot for 20 days in Gujarat.

Meanwhile, Virk revealed after the 20 days shoot they will move for indoor shooting but before that, the entire team will join workshops in the month of September which will clear the air about the concept of the film.

He also said, Ajay Devgn will play Indian Air Force’s squadron leader Vijay Karnik in the film and Virk will play a fighter pilot who is a part of his combat team. The entire film is based on true stores from the wartime.

Sonakshi Sinha will be playing Sunderben Jetha Madharparya, a social worker who efficiently influence local women, whereas, Parineeti will be seen as an undercover agent in Lahore favoring India, named as Heena Rehman.
