Delhi, despite being the capital city of India was once the most polluted city on earth. This was really shameful for both approx 18.9 million ordinary people as well as the ministers who themselves lives in Delhi.

Air quality index monitors reported 999 on the scale which is double the number which is considered hazardous.

The major concern with air pollution is the small particles that are less than 2.5 microns in diameter known as PM 2.5 keeps on flowing in the air.

These small particles are really harmful to the health of ordinary people as these particles can penetrate deep into the lungs and can cause several diseases like asthma, heart attack, and the worst cancer.

Several measures were being taken by the system to control air pollution in the city. For example last year, The odd-even formula was released in daily as to limit the number of vehicles on the road. And this Diwali, the supreme court banned the firing of crackers in the city. Despite, supreme court’s order, many people kept on firing crackers as to celebrate Diwali.

Rising air pollution is a big concern for India, as many cities in India continues to get polluted day by day. You will be shocked to know that out of the 10 most polluted cities in the world, 9 are from India.
Here I present you the list of Top 6 most polluted cities n the world. Please note, I say top 6 in the world, still Indian cities are all over the list and foreign cities are nowhere to see.
