Saurav Ganguly Defends Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul, People make mistakes lets move on- Says Ganguly

Saurav Ganguly recently reacted on Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul’s controversial comments. When asked by a media reporter his views on Pandya’s comments. The iconic cricketer Ganguly said that he did not watch Koffee with Karan and he only watches Comedy Nights with Kapil.

But still, the legendary cricketer said that the “we should move on” about Hardik and Rahul’s sexist comments. He further said that ever does a mistake, we should move on and he believed that Pandya and KL Rahul will learn from the mistake and will become a better person.

Pandya and KL Rahul recently on the controversial chat show Koffee with Karan passed some controversial comments on women which led to a provisional suspension on them.

Ganguly Defended KL Rahul and Pandya on an event and said- “People make mistakes, let’s not go too far here. I am sure, whoever has done it will realise and come out a better person. We are human beings, not machines that we will always be perfect. We should move on and make sure it doesn’t happen again,”.

Recently, The Indian Cricket team captain Virat also reacted on their comments and deemed their comments as inappropriate. The duo was forced to return midway from the ODI series in Australia as punishment for passing controversial comments on women.
Bothe Pandya and KL Rahul are being put under an inquiry ad post inquiry most probably, the duo will also not be the part of NewZealand tour.

When a media reporter asked Ganguly about the difference between old cricketers and modern-day cricketers and are modern day cricketers obedient and disciplined. Reacting on the question Ganguly said that- “Look at Virat Kohli, he is such a fantastic role model. India is a fortunate country, every generation produces players whom all of us cherish, there was (Sunil) Gavaskar, then came (Sachin) Tendulkar, when Tendulkar finished people thought who’s next, now it’s Virat Kohli. “A lot of these cricketers are fantastic human beings because they come from middle-class backgrounds and fight their way up. Can you imagine 11 selected out of the millions play the game.”

Ganguly when asked about Ekta Kapoor approaching him for making her biopic, Ganguly replied that he has talked to Ekta Kapoor but nothing more than that.
