Sources reveal that Rohit is planning to buy the rights of
Tamil cop-drama film ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru‘ which is indicating towards ‘Sooryavanshi’ to be a remake of the South film.

Director Rohit Shetty is known for blowing up cars during his shoot. The director seems to be inclined in stories which revolves around cops. Recently released ‘Simmba’ was yet another cop story as were his former film ‘Singham’.

Simmba‘, starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan was a super hit at the Box Office whereas, Singham has well left a mark on its audience long back.

In a small clip at the end of Simmba, Rohit had released a crisp trailer where Akshay Kumar was seen as a police officer. Anticipation is being made that the story will revolve around the cop life as the other two.

According to reports, a source close to the film has revealed that Shetty is planning to buy the rights of Tamil cop-drama film ‘Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru’ which is indicating towards ‘Sooryavanshi’ to be a remake of the South film.

The film ‘Simmba’ was also a remake of a South film ‘Temper’ which was modified by the director and revolves around the Singham-Simmba-Sooryavanshi universe, It’s just a matter of time to see what the director has to offer to his audience now.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is busy this year with a long list of movies in his bag like Karan Johar’s ‘Good News’ ‘Kesari’, ‘Mission Mangal’ and ‘Housefull 4’. He is now engaged in shooting for ‘Kesari’ with KJo.
