The much talked about film of Kangana Ranaut had made quite a headline just ahead of its release. The new topic to keep it abreast to media is Kangana won’t apologize to Shri Karni Sena for her comment on them.

Kangana Says She Will Not Apologize to Shri Rajput Karni Sena: “I am a Rajput and I will destroy them”

Kangana’s much talked about film ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ is all set to release tomorrow, yet the film is bagging media attention for many reasons. It has made to the limelight many a time as it is a biographical film based on the historical character or Rani Laxmibai.

Recently though Kangana was asked for an apology for her comment that she made for Shri Karni Sena when they opposed her film. She said, “I am a Rajput and I will destroy them.”

Kangana refused to apologize on her comment “I will not apologize to anybody. I have never apologized whenever I haven’t made a mistake. We have promised that we haven’t shown anything wrong about Rani Laxmibai in the film so, they should support us.

Rani Laxmibai is not my relative and I feel she is the daughter of the entire country so, we all should support the film. Shri Rajput Karni Sena should not play their ego card with me because I am not here to say sorry to anyone.”

This all started when a report came that Shri Rajput Karni Sena opposed ‘Manikarnika’ and claimed it unethical as Queen Laxmibai was seen dancing to a special number, and claimed it to be against tradition. They also asked the filmmakers to hold a special screening of the film for them before its actual release.

Sooner, Shri Rajput Karni Sena claimed the outfit is not involved in the protests against Kangana Ranaut starrer movie and stated that some people are using their name for personal interests. Saying so they demanded an apology from Kangana for making a deprecating statement against their organization.

Kangana further said, “I just paid my tribute to him (Thackeray) ahead of his 93rd birth anniversary. People of Maharashtra love and respect Balasaheb Thackeray, and you see, we all have become Maharashtrian because we have been working here for many years.

Similarly, Rani Laxmibai belonged to Maharashtra and she was the daughter of Maratha so, for both of them, there is an immense amount of love and respect in our hearts.”

Her unbiased attitude towards any caste or religion makes a positive mark on the audience. But for her personal safety, high security has been set at her residence before the release of the film which is scheduled on 25th of January 2019.
