Vivek has been given police protection as his film will be released tomorrow
As reported by INS, actor Vivek Oberoi received death threat early in the morning today. This is due to his involvement at the lead actor in the biopic which is based on Narendra Modi Named as “PM Narendra Modi”. It has been reported that the call has been received from the Naxalites before the release of the sensational film.
Police are further investigating into the case and trying to locate the area from where the call has been done. However, Vivek has been provided with security today for his film’s screening. As per reports, the actor will be entitled to 24 hours of police protection until further declaration.
However, the film has been engaged in many controversies and the release date of the same has been delayed until now. It all happened as the film was on a sensational topic which could have created a reaction of the common men just before the Lok Sabha Election 2019. The Election Commission banned the release and even Supreme Court refused to interfere in Election Commissioner’s order. Finally, the release date is finalized on the 24th of May, just a day after the election results.
As we have earlier reported that Vivek was in news recently for his controversial tweet and also apologized for the same. In his tweet, he compared his ex’s Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s relationship from the past and present to poll results. Even after his apology regarding the same, the Mumbai Mahila Congress wrote to the police to lodge an FIR against him under Section 509 for the same.
We are waiting to see the performance of the movie at the box office tomorrow. If the election results favor PM Narendra Modi, then it will be a double celebration for the entire team.
