Kabir Khan’s film ’83 release date locked and came up with a prep-up video
Ranveer Singh who is known for his enormous energy and unmatched acting skills have given back-to-back hit film. His last film Gully Boy made a mark for acting standards in Bollywood film industry.
After the success of his last film, he is all gearing up for his next which is ’83. It is a film on one of the most prestigious moment for Indian cricket team when India won the first cricket world cup. The film is based on Kapil Dev who was the then captain of Indian cricket team under whose captaincy India won the first world cup. It is the story of the entire team India and has a contribution of every player.
There have been several films based on sports but what makes ’83 special is that it tells the story of the entire Indian cricket team and relives the moment of their first victory as they won the world cup trophy. Ranveer Singh will be seen playing Kapil Dev, the protagonist of the story and the film is helmed by Kabir Khan who has previously given us clue on how he wants it to be presented in front of the audience.
The makers of the film locked the date of release of the film and also released a prep-up video. They have finalized to release the film on Good Friday next year, which is April 10, 2020.
The team is prepping up for the film and the actors have been taking it to social media to express their feelings with the audience.
’83 is produced by Kabir Khan along with Madhu Mantena and Vishnu Induri. Few of the actors in a pivotal role in the film are Ranveer Singh, Jiiva, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, and Chirag Patil, Adinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, and Dinker Sharma.
The film will re-live the historic moment when the Indian cricket team won the first Cricket World Cup Trophy.
