Shahid feels it’s important to take expert opinion before he starts with his next; Kabir Singh

Shahid Kapoor has marked his presence in the Hindi film industry by doing various roles which are different from one another. One cannot say that Shahid has been doing stereotype films, but his quiver includes mentionable films like Padmavat, Rangoon, Udta Punjab, Jab We Met, Haider and many more.

He is preparing for his upcoming film named Kabir Singh. Kabir Singh is a film on perhaps the best surgeon in India. It is a remake of a Telegu Film named Arjun Reddy which released in 2017. The Hindi remake is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Shahid was recently spotted visiting hospitals and spending time with the doctors there as he is preparing for Kabir Singh. According to Shahid, spending time with the doctors gave him a better understanding of the tricks of the trade.

Being an ace actor, Shahid wants everything to look natural. He is spending hours in the hospital now to get into his character and to closely watch the procedures that surgeons normally go through every day.

In a statement about the film, Shahid said, “Kabir Singh is an accomplished surgeon, perhaps the best in his field. So the mannerisms and actions needed to be precise.”

“Interacting with experts gave me a deeper understanding of the craft,” Shahid further added.

The story of the film revolves around the life of Kabir Singh and his lady love Preeti and how they overcome all the hurdles in life to live happily ever after. It was a massive hit in the South film industry.

The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Ashwin Varde, and will hit the cinemas on 21 June 2019.
