Kapil Sharma last year made his reentry in the Television with his much-loved show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ which had gained popularity over a period of time.

The Kapil Sharma Show’s Short-Lived Glory

Kapil was much loved by his audience and gained the first rank in TRP within the few initial days of his comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Though this name is not new to us as we have witnessed the success of the show over a few years on Indian television.

Certain hype adjoining the show, TKSS managed to set TRP chart on fire and grabbed the number one position.

Kapil’s show witnessed an astonishing TRP of 8.1 million impressions on the first day, according to BARC ratings.

Kapil’s second innings got a great start but the star could not hold back its position. The recent TRP reports say TKSS has taken its seat to the second position, whereas Rohit Shetty’s reality show, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ has leaped to the first position. The third position is taken by Ekta Kapoor’s Nagin 3, followed by dance show Super Dancer Chapter 3 on the fourth.

Kapil has been engaged lately for many controversies. His take over acting in Bollywood film industry did not turn out to be a successful affair. His image as a stand-up comedian was loved by all and he was a name known to almost every Indian household.

He was in limelight for his misconduct with his team members and his friends who were part of the show. After the split in his team, Kapil gradually lowered the show broadcasting time per week and concentrated with acting in Hindi films.

With less fortune in acting, he came back to his self and started the second inning of his comedy show. Getting the hype that it should get TKSS got a good response from the audience. The new cast of the show includes Kapil Sharma, Chandan Prabhakar, Kiku Sharda, Bharti Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Navjot Singh Siddhu and Sumona Chakravarti in key roles.
