After performing a dance step, a knee drop, Varun busted his knee and severe leg cramps

Varun Dhawan who defines the next generation of Bollywood cinema is all set for his next film with Remo D’Souza, a dance drama ABCD 3.

He made his debut with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year along with Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra in 2012.  And since then there is no turning back. He has proved himself mostly every time in Box Office.

 According to latest reports, Varun was recently shooting in Punjab for Remo D’Souza’s upcoming dance drama, the third and last installment of ‘ABCD’ franchise, has ended up with a busted knee of Varun. The actor also suffered several muscle cramps post the incident.

As per a source working closely with the film says that the team ‘ABCD 3’ was shooting a celebratory song in Amritsar and Varun was required to shoot three dance pieces. After performing a dance step, a knee drop, he busted his knee and severe leg cramps. 

And it was the last day of the Amritsar schedule. After wrapping up the schedule, Varun returned to Mumbai and reportedly seek medical help from his Doctor. 

The film  ‘ABCD 3’ is directed by Remo D’Souza, who has helmed both ‘ABCD’ films and also directed critically-lambasted ‘Race 3’ starring Salman Khan. The film is probably titled ‘Street Dancer’. 

After completion of the shoot in Punjab, the crew is scheduled to fly to the United Kingdom where the major chunk of the film will be shot.

 Apart from Varun and Shraddha, ‘ABCD 3’ will also star Nora Fatehi, Sonam Bajwa, Shakti Mohan, Vartika Jha, Dharmesh Yelande, Punit Pathak and Raghav Juyal in key roles. The film will also feature Prabhu Deva. 

The movie is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Lizelle D’Souza and will be shot in 3D and converted to 4DX later. It is touted as the biggest dance film ever in 3D. It is scheduled to release on November 8, 2019.
